Three Surprising Tricks to Get Way Better Fitness Results

Do you want to see more results from exercise? Do you feel like you’re spending a ton of time in the gym and getting little from it?

Most people blame this on bad fitness programming. How many sets and reps are you supposed to do? How much time per week should you spend exercising? Is it better to use kettlebells, free weights, or body weight? Is running or biking better for you? How do you fix a workout plateau?

Fitness programming IS complex and important (and you can find my advice on programming for beginners at the bottom of the article), but it’s not always the issue. There are still workout hacks that anyone can use to improve their fitness level, no matter what program they’re using.

I’ve been a strength and conditioning coach and research nerd for sixteen years, and there are three simple training fixes that everyone — beginner to expert — can make instantly, for free, to improve their fitness results. It’s not clickbait; it’s science.
